The Master of Health Administration (MHA) program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). This program focuses on management principles pertinent to healthcare leadership, with affiliations to various health organizations such as Spectrum Health, Trinity Health, Covenant Retirement Communities, Henry Ford Health System, Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital, McLaren Health Care, University of Michigan West, Porter Hills Retirement Communities, and Sparrow Health.
The MHA faculty collaborates with other programs to offer management education that encompasses elements beyond health management.
The program is accessible to students from diverse undergraduate backgrounds, including humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, business, health professions, and other fields. It provides flexibility for both full-time and part-time students, accommodating pre-career and mid-career individuals through evening, weekend, and online course offerings.
The program consists of 48-54 credits, typically taking students 16-18 months to complete.
