The Executive Masters of Healthcare Management programs (MHA and MPH) are designed for healthcare professionals seeking to advance into high-level management or policy roles. These programs cater to individuals with seven or more years of relevant experience from various sectors, including hospitals, health departments, managed care organizations, consulting firms, law firms, and pharmaceutical companies. After enrollment, students can select either an MHA or an MPH degree.
Classes are held for one long weekend (Thursday to Sunday) each month over a 24-month period. The curriculum covers the political, legal, and economic factors influencing healthcare systems, introduces core principles of public health, and provides practical management training.
The faculty comprises full-time professors from the Mailman School of Public Health and experienced practitioners who connect theoretical concepts to real-world applications.
