Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

- Apply legal concepts within the scope of medical assisting and health care.

The program length for the Medical Assistant program at Renton Technical College is 4 quarters for the Certificate of Completion option and 6 quarters for the Associate of Applied Science and AAS-Transfer options.
