The Medical Assistant Program at ECPI University's School of Health Science, Medical Careers Institute, has a tuition structure based on the number of credits taken per semester. Full-time students taking 12-18 credits are charged a flat rate of $7,848 per semester. Students taking less than full-time, or 0-11.5 credits, are charged at a rate of $654 per credit. For those taking an overload of credits, or 19+ credits, there is an additional charge of $436 per credit on top of the full-time tuition cost. Please note, programs offered at the Northern Virginia campus incur an additional fee of $240 per semester.
The program length for the Medical Assisting Associate program is 15 months.
