The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program at the College of Southern Nevada offers two Associate of Applied Science Degrees: General/Vascular Ultrasound Track and Cardiac/Vascular Ultrasound Track. The program aims to prepare entry-level sonographers with the necessary knowledge, skills, and behavior to excel in their field. It is the only program in Nevada accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), allowing students to sit for the certification exam as Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers before graduation.
