Carteret Community College Medical Assisting Morehead City, North Carolina

The program equips students with essential skills in administrative tasks, clinical procedures, ethical and legal knowledge, and certification preparation. It offers accreditation from CAAHEP and MAERB, a high job placement rate, transfer opportunities, performance standards, and career support.

• Administrative Tasks: Scheduling, insurance processing, billing, collections, and computer operations
• Clinical Procedures: Assisting with examinations, laboratory procedures, electrocardiography, and medication administration

• Certification Preparation: Preparation for the American Association of Medical Assistants’ Certification Examination
