Lakeland Community College
Lakeland Community College is a public institution of higher education located in Kirtland, Ohio.
Established in 1967, it was the first college in Ohio to be created by a vote of the people.
The college has grown to serve over 8,000 credit students, offering more than 140 associate degree and certificate programs that may lead to high-demand careers or transfer to four-year institutions. Lakeland also provides access to bachelor's, graduate, and doctorate degrees, as well as lifelong learning opportunities, through partnerships with 11 four-year institutions. It is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission.
